Affectionately known to many as “Teddy”, Fred grew up in Brielle, NJ and lived near the Jersey shore for the majority of his life. In 2004, Fred married Katie, his true help-soulmate and they embarked on an amazing faith journey in ministry that allowed them to minister throughout the states and Albania, ultimately leading them to Southport, NC in 2024 at the Lord’s calling. During the past 20 years, Fred also served in other churches in various capacities. Currently, Fred is bi-vocational (as Founder/ Artistic Director for Plays On Word Theater & Plays On Word Radio Podcast) underscoring the multifaceted nature of his calling to spread the Gospel and equip believers. The ministry, Calvary Southport is based in Southport, NC.

In addition to being Fred’s “help-soulmate”, Katie is a veteran of marketing and advertising, a road she has traveled for over 40 years. An effective team member whether leading or collaborating, Katie has worked for various high profiled companies, in-house studios, advertising agencies as well as along side her husband at Plays On Word Theater. Her interests include a series of inspirational prints and a love of photography.

Bill has served faithfully for over 15 years in various churches from financial consulting to the Elder Board and worship team. He currently, along with his wife, Louise Marie Cole, is a Principal Partner at Heritage Group of Companies. As Wealth Advisors, their company's focus is on Building Holistic Financial Plans for Retirees and Pre-Retirees.
